Always burn candles within sight and away from drafts, pets and inflammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

Particularly with metal containers, it is advisable to burn candles on top of a heat-proof layer as these containers can reach high temperatures.

Before each lighting, trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch to prevent excessive smoking and ensure a clean, even burn. Trimmed wicks also help reduce the risk of soot build-up on the container.

The optimal burning time for candles varies depending on the diameter of the candle. As a general guideline, for every inch in diameter burn the candle for approximately 1 hour to ensure you get the full scent profile.

For the best scent throw, we recommend burning your candle for no more than 3 to 4 hours at a time. This allows the wax to melt evenly and prevents the fragrance from becoming overwhelming.

• Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting or handling.
• Always centre and straighten the wick after extinguishing, to prevent it from drifting off-centre.
• To extinguish the flame, use a snuffer or gently blow it out. Avoid blowing directly onto the wax, as this can cause splattering.

Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and melting. Avoid storing candles in extreme temperatures, as this can cause the wax to warp or crack.
