A Legacy of Inspiration

In the shadows of Slains Castle, the birthplace of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, our family found inspiration steeped in the mystical allure of the gothic masterpiece. It was here, amidst the rugged cliffs and haunting landscapes, that the seed of our small candle business was planted. 

The Birth of an Idea

Driven by a desire to offer visitors a tangible memento of their journey through the land that inspired Stoker’s immortal tale, we conceived our first candle collection: The Dracul Collection. Infusing each candle with excerpts from Dracula, we sought to imbue them with a soul, capturing the essence of the novel’s haunting prose in every flickering flame.

Crafting with Purpose

With meticulous attention to detail and a reverence for our literary heritage, we meticulously selected quotes from the novel to complement the evocative scents of our candles. Each fragrance, from the earthy notes of wood of Transylvanian forests and leather from an ancient home, to the intoxicating aroma of the turbulent sea, served as a portal to the world of Dracula.

A Journey Beyond Borders

Building upon the success of our inaugural collection, our passion for storytelling led us to explore the rich tapestry of Scottish folklore and fabled creatures. Drawing inspiration from the mystical realms of selkies, kelpies and banshees, we are currently crafting another collection, The Mystic Collection, which celebrates the enchanting tales woven into the fabric of Scotland’s cultural heritage.
